Dear Residents, PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team. What`s been happening: We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hotspots for anti-social behaviour. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community. Your neighbourhood team are holding a PACT meeting on Wednesday 25th March at 19:00 at Thomas King House, Wellington Street, Coventry. We hope to see many of you there as this is a great way to discuss any issues you are facing. We conducted a Cuppa With Coppa event at Hope Centre, Vauxhall Street. This is another great way to meet your local officers and discuss issues. Members of the public are welcome in the Hope Centre for free tea and coffee for their Coffee and Chat sessions every Wednesday and Fridays from 11:00-14:00. We have been conducting visits to multiple vulnerable members of the community to offer safeguarding advice and support. ARRESTS: This week your local officers made some great arrests. Altogether there were 3 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week. These arrests were ranging from assaults, immigration and warrants for failing to appear. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK: Your local officers have been out conducting stop and searches in the area.
