Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Over the past few months we have seen the Number of Reports to to light from Woman and Young Girls that feel afraid to go out at night in the parks and during the day going to School or work where people have followed them or made them feel under Threat.
As the Heston East Neighbourhood Team feel this is a Ward for all people and safety of our resident is so important we will be continuing with patrols around these areas and engaging with the Female to see how we can better deal with the incidents they encounter. We would like to encourage you to feel in your thoughts and ideas in this Survey.

 We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years.
