Neighbourhood Matters Update – Operation Aurora

Today our Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out speed monitoring at three priority locations:

B4368 (Morville)

Shipton

Outside William Brookes School, Much Wenlock

This activity supports Operation Aurora, our ongoing work to improve road safety and reduce speeding in line with local community priorities.

What we want you to know

In Morville, four vehicles were recorded travelling above the 30mph limit, with the highest speed recorded at 42mph.

In Shipton, no speeding vehicles were detected.

In Much Wenlock, outside William Brookes School, 10% of vehicles surveyed were travelling above the 20mph limit.

Our presence and these checks form part of our continued commitment to reducing casualties and addressing concerns raised by local residents.
