Appeal for specific witness following assault – Farnham Common |
Dear Resident,
We are appealing for a specific witness to come forward following an assault in Farnham Common. At around 7.10pm on Tuesday 10 March, a road traffic collision occurred on Victoria Road involving a white Vauxhall van which had ladders on its roof and a man who was stationary on a bicycle. The rider of the bicycle, a man in his forties, sustained a serious head injury which required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged. A 22-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of assault thereby occasioning actual bodily harm, attempted murder, dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road accident, possession of a firearm without a certificate and theft. A 43-year-old man from Slough has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving and failing to stop after a road accident. Both have since been released on conditional bail until 4 June 2026. There was a person riding an e-scooter on Victoria Road who stopped and helped the victim after the collision, and we would like to specifically appeal to them to contact the force as they may have vital witness information to assist our enquiries. If you were in the Victoria Road area at the time and have dash-cam footage, please check your recording in case it captured anything that could assist our investigation. If you have information, you can contact us either via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43260119006.
Kind regards, | ||
