ARRESTED

**4 arrested over the weekend following a series of criminal damage reports involving catapults across Bletchingley.**
 

A member of the public called police to report that their van had been damaged whilst at Reigate Hill yesterday evening and the suspect vehicle was still in the area. 
 

Officers quickly attended and were able to locate a suspect vehicle leaving the scene. 
 

The vehicle was stopped and the 4 occupants detained. The vehicle was searched where officers found 6 catapults, a box full of ball bearings and 2 locking knives. 
 

2 males have since been interviewed and released on bail while the other 2 juveniles will be interviewed at a later date. 
 

The other reported incidents occurred in Coneybury, Mid Street, Castle Street and Little Common Lane between 13th and 15th March and police believe all incidents to be linked to the same offenders.
