Drugs and stolen vehicle seized from Tulse Hill

Dear residents,

On 13th March, your local officers carried out a weapons sweep on behalf of the Trident Unit, who specialise in tackling gang-related crime.

This was in relation to an incident near Tulse Hill Estate, where a vehicle was found dumped believed to be involved with a gang incident and subsequently seized for investigation. 

During the search, officers recovered several wraps of drugs, believed to be heroin and cocaine.
A second vehicle with cloned plates was also located; this vehicle had been reported stolen, with the false plates Velcroed on top of the originals. It is suspected to be linked to gang activity as well.

Your local team will continue to conduct further weapon sweeps and make regular visits to ensure the safety of the community.
