PCSO Baker Recovers Two Mopeds and Detains Rider During Proactive Patrol.

During a routine evening patrol, PCSO Baker carried out two successful interventions that disrupted vehicle-related crime and led to the recovery of two mopeds, one uninsured and another confirmed stolen.

The first incident occurred when a moped rider attempted to make off from officers. Acting quickly, PCSO Baker safely detained the male without incident. Checks revealed that the vehicle did not belong to the rider and that he had no valid insurance. The individual has been processed for the relevant offences, and the moped has been seized and taken to the police vehicle pound.

While awaiting the recovery of the seized vehicle, PCSO Baker identified a second moped nearby. Further checks confirmed it as a stolen vehicle outstanding on police systems. The moped was subsequently recovered, and arrangements have been made for it to be returned to its rightful owner
