Here is your update as to what has been going on in your area since our last message.
Crime Update: Between 1am and 7am on the 5th an unknown offender has smashed the front passenger window, and stolen bank cards from a car on Ulverley Green Road 20/169216/26 On Chelmscote Road the front registration plate was stolen from a Vauxhall Astra between 5:30pm and 9pm of the 10th 20/175705/26 A BMW 4Series was stolen from Kineton Road between 7pm on the 13th and 4:30am of the 14th It is not yet confirmed what method was used to gain access to the vehicle 20/178635/26
Good News: The team have conducted an operation this week targeting off road motorbikes which are often reported riding anti-socially around the local parks, this has targeted people using off road motorbike and electric bikes, stay tuned to our social media channels as further details of this operation will be released shortly. On the previous WMnow update, we said; 'An offender who has been committing Burglaries and vehicle crime on Warwick Road has been identified through CCTV enquires. The team have identified a timeframe of when the offences have been committed and have been conducting plain clothes patrols in the area to locate and arrest the suspect. Efforts are still ongoing to arrest the suspect and prevent him from committing further offences in the area.' - This offender has since been arrested and has been charged to court. The team will continue proactively patrolling the area, looking out for vehicles and suspects who cause the community harm. We always use information gathered from our local residents to assist our patrols. Please continue to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior. We hope that you all have a lovely weekend.
