Local Priorities Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Concern Update |
||
|
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Roath Neighbourhood Police Violence Against Women and Girls Saftey Point. We provided a visible, well -lit area whereby the public have approached officers and PCSO's for support. The saftey point offers a safe space for individuals to stop, have a conversation with officers and access information around personal saftey, local support services and reporting options. The initiative is intended to increase reassurance within the community that Women and Girls should not feel scared and we are here to help. If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.south-wales.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
