Incident at the Marsh Academy 12/03/2026

Hello all

Just a quick update mainly for the parents and students who attend the Marsh Academy.

I know that Mr Simmons issued a statement to parents with regards to an incident within the school grounds on Thursday involving a male who appeared to be trespassing.

Later that afternoon officers from our Child Centred Policing Team located a male matching the description given and he was arrested.

I cannot comment any further at this stage due to there being an ongoing investigation but I wanted you all to know that positive action has been taken.

Please take this opportunity to remind your children about ‘stranger danger’ and what they should do in the very unlikely event that they should find themselves in a position whereby they are approached/spoken to and the contact is unwanted.
