Pavement Parking

Following complaints about pavement parking on Wood Street / Nottingham Road in Ashby , which is one of the main routes into the town, officers have taken action.
This driver has been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) for wilful obstruction of the highway 🚔.

As you can see, a mobility scooter or a double buggy would not have been able to get past, forcing pedestrians into the road and creating a safety risk ⚠️

We’ll continue to monitor the area 👀
