Prolific Shoplifter Caught: On 8 March 2026, PCSOs chased and arrested a prolific shoplifter at Bentley Bridge. He was found with nearly £300 of stolen goods and was also wanted for robbery and a prison recall.

"Wanted" Person Identified: On 25 February 2026, PCSOs on Wednesfield High Street spotted and detained (arrested by the team police officers) one of Wolverhampton's " Wanted" individuals for shop theft, assault, and failing to attend court.

Drug & Robbery Charges: A male was recently arrested, charged, and remanded for a robbery in Heath Town. Additionally, two males were arrested for breaching community orders, with one also charged for possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

HGV Seizures: Working with Staffordshire Police, the team seized two heavy goods vehicles suspected of being used for high-value thefts. 

Untaxed Vehicle Seizure: …On 8 March 2026, the team located and seized an untaxed vehicle to help keep illegal cars off the road.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Action: The team has issued multiple Community Protection Warnings (CPWs) and Notices (CPNs) to individuals causing a nuisance at Crossways Shopping Centre and Bentley Bridge.

Commander’s Award: PC Edwards, the South Designated Neighbourhood Officer for Wednesfield, was recently awarded a Local Commander’s Award for successfully investigating a complex social media blackmail case involving six victims.
