Penrhyndeudraeth residents - Protect your personal belongings with Smart Water for just £12!

As part of this exciting crime prevention initiative, the town council are offering Smart Water kits to residents from the Penrhyndeudraeth Town Council Ward for a reduced price of just £12 per kit! (usual RRP is £59.50).

Smart Water is a forensic liquid that contains DNA code, which when registered is unique to your address. It is invisible to the naked eye but detectable under UV torch.  By marking valuable items, if lost or stolen, there is a higher chance that we can return them to their rightful owner.  You  can mark laptops, mobile phones, tools, bikes, jewellery, game consoles and much more.  One bottle will mark 60 - 80 items. 

These Smart Water kits have been very popular so far, with many residents already claiming one. The town council still have a few kits left, so we will be holding another drop-in session where you can pick up a kit, be shown how to use it and get some top tips on crime prevention and security from Paula Stewart, your local ‘We Don’t Buy Crime' PCSO.

SARURDAY 14th MARCH 2026, between 12 noon and 4pm at the Memorial Hall during the “Farchnad Tre Cocos” Event.

Please remember to bring your £12 cash payment to hand to the council, and bear in mind that it will take a few minutes to go through everything, so best to allow 5-10 minutes as we will also register the kit for you.
