I wanted to provide you with an update regarding cycle theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.
Within Edmonton there are bikes which had been left without any locks attached to it which would allow people to steal bikes. It is important that when one cycles to places it is vital that you lock your bike to prevent others from theft. It is major to have two locks for one bike so that the bike is more safe. Its also important to wear helmet when cycling too. If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk/, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
