Community Engagement at Earlsmead Primary |
||
|
Good morning residents,
This week South Tottenham SNT visited Earlsmead Primary School to spend time with the brilliant Year 3 pupils. The children had the chance to learn about the role of police in keeping communities safe, explore the equipment officers use, and ask plenty of thoughtful (and sometimes hilarious) questions.
The officers were incredibly impressed by the pupils’ curiosity, confidence, and enthusiasm especially when they participated in our policing quiz. Building trust and positive relationships with young people is at the heart of community policing, and today was a fantastic example of that in action.
Arguably, the most exciting part was when we showcased our van with lights and sirens which seemed to have turned half the class into aspiring police officers.
A huge thank you to the school for welcoming the team—and to Year 3 for being such engaged and inspiring young learners. | ||
