Unfortunately I was not able to download the crime figures for the Villages this week. Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle At 11.30pm on Thursday 5 March at the Kirkby Leisure Centre car park on Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white Ford Transit van with an orange beacon on the roof was stolen. The van contained a lawn mower, strimmers, leaf blower and long reach hedge cutters Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Report at 11.27am on Saturday 7 March from Sherwood Court, Sherwood Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, of the theft of a light blonde/brown coloured mobility scooter from a store with key card entry. It was last seen two weeks ago. Criminal Damage At 3.40pm on Friday 6 March in Searwood Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, a hole was made in a garden hedge which boarders the pedestrian way into the Ashfield School. A pupil had forced his way through the hedge and into the garden, he then banged on the back door of the house before running off back through the hedge. Between noon and 12.20pm on Wednesday 11 March in Lindley’s Lane, Kirkby in Ashfield, a blue Saab 9-3 Aero 2000 car, parked on the road outside the Tropical Pet Store had the paintwork on the bonnet scratched through to the undercoat. ASB At 1.19pm on Saturday 7 March in Willow Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, three white male teenagers kicked a front door and made threats.
