You Said, We Did: An update on the local neighbourhood policing priorities |
||
|
During our most recent priority setting forums, members of the public gave feedback on the issues they’d like to see their neighbourhood officers focusing on over the coming months. Here is an update on how we are addressing your concerns:
YOU SAID: DRUG ISSUES IN DEERSWOOD AVENUE WE DID: Patrols are increased in the area and we are continuing to gather intelligence. Residents are encouraged to continue reporting concerns via 101 or online at https://www.herts.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us-beta/contact-us/. A warrant that was conducted on Friday 9 January resulted in an 18 year old man being arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply (ketamine). Ketamine was seized from the address and the man was given a conditional caution.
YOU SAID: ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND VEHICLE RELATED NUISANCE IN STATION ROAD, WELHAM GREEN THROUGH TO BLUEBRIDGE ROAD IN BROOKMANS PARK WE DID: Officers are continuing to closely monitor this and speeding operations are planned in the area. Op Rossi is also underway – this is our dedicated operation to tackle anti-social behaviour and criminal activity committed using mopeds, pedal cycles, e-bikes and e-scooters. An e-bike was seized on Thursday 5 March and and the teenage rider was reported for four traffic offences.
You can also use Herts Connected to let us know what you think we should be prioritising in your area. Your feedback will help towards shaping our local policing priorities, initiatives and campaigns. Visit bit.ly/hertspolice-psf and tell us your thoughts. | ||
