Proactive day for Neighbourhood officers

Yesterday was a busy Day for Ashton Town Centre Officers 👮‍♂️

Sgt Rob Froggatt and PC Cotton conducted proactive plain‑clothes patrols across Ashton town centre — resulting in a highly productive day of action.

Our activity included:

✔️ 2 arrests

✔️ 4 stop searches

✔️ 5 PSPO breach warnings

✔️ 2 vehicles seized

✔️ 2 Community Protection Warnings issued

✔️ 1 summons for a driving offence

✔️ Counterfeit goods seized

Arrests made:

Male adult — arrested and charged for possession of Class B drugs.

Female adult — arrested and charged with driving while disqualified, no licence, no insurance, and using a mobile phone while driving.
