|
A suspected drug dealer was arrested after being located by officers in Borehamwood. Officers, acting on intelligence, stopped a vehicle on Stirling Way and conducted a search. This uncovered cannabis in deal bags, multiple phones and over £1,500 in cash. The driver, a man aged 27 and from Edgware, Greater London, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. The vehicle, a Silver Ford Transit Connect, was seized for being uninsured. PC Jack Laycock, from the Hertsmere Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are serious about tackling drugs in the borough and I hope this news is reassuring to residents. As part of this arrest, we’ve also removed a vehicle from an uninsured driver. I am sure this will be pleasing news to all those who do the right thing and pay for their vehicle insurance.” You can use Herts Connected to let us know what you think we should be prioritising in your area.
