City Centre Beat Team – Weekly Round‑Up
It’s been another busy week for the City Centre Beat Team as we continue working to keep our community safe, supported, and connected.
Patrolling Granby Buildings
Our officers have been out on foot across Granby Buildings, speaking with residents and supporting those experiencing anti‑social behaviour. We’re working closely with partners to help improve safety and quality of life for everyone living there.
High‑Visibility Patrols Around Town Hall Square
We’ve increased our high‑vis patrols in and around Town Hall Square, focusing on tackling drug‑related crime and keeping this busy area safe and welcoming.
PCSO Community Engagement
Our PCSOs have been out and about hosting engagement events at the Central Library and local shopping centres. Thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, raise concerns, or simply say hello — your feedback is invaluable.
Working With Educational Establishments
This week we’ve continued collaborating with our city’s schools and colleges to address youth-related ASB, offering guidance, support, and early intervention where needed.
Weekend Night‑Time Economy Patrols
As we head into the weekend, our officers will be deployed across the night‑time economy, working to ensure everyone can enjoy a safe night out in the city.
