Appeal: Man found with serious head injury in Nettleham

We are appealing for witnesses after a man was found on Scothern Road, Nettleham, near Lincoln, on Monday 23 February 2026 at 1:45am with a serious head injury.

We are trying to establish how the man sustained their injury. He remains in hospital in critical care and is unable to speak to us.

It is not normal practice for us to share a photo of someone who has been injured, but as part of our lines of enquiry, we are asking members of the public to see if they have any recollection of seeing this man and can help us piece together what may have happened to him. His family are aware of this post.
