Missing Street Furniture Bins

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of several street‑furniture litter bins from multiple locations in the area since March 2025. 

These bins are owned by the Town Council and are provided for the benefit of the community, helping to maintain clean and welcoming public spaces. Their removal has a direct impact on local residents and the wider environment.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity, has information about who may be responsible, or knows the current whereabouts of the missing bins, to come forward. Even small details could assist our enquiries.
