We have received a report of a fraudulent charity representative operating in the Strawberry Lane area of Blackfordby. It has been reported that an individual is knocking on doors claiming to be selling household goods on behalf of a charity.

Please take the following safety advice:

Do not give money or personal details to anyone who cannot show official identification.

Genuine charity collectors will always carry ID and should never pressure you into donating.

If you feel unsure, close the door and contact the charity directly using details from their official website

If you feel threatened or in immediate danger, always call 999.
