Secure your jewellery and consider CCTV/doorbell cameras

We’re urging residents to secure their jewellery and consider fitting CCTV or doorbell cameras.

There have been four recent burglaries in the Hartwell Gardens and Townsend Lane areas, with jewellery stolen on each occasion.

Please take a moment to:
• Hide valuable or sentimental jewellery securely – and take photos of it.
• Consider installing CCTV or a doorbell camera.
• Keep an eye on elderly or vulnerable neighbours.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously in your road, please contact us.
• 999 – if a crime is in progress
• 101 – for non-emergencies
