Vehicle crimes reported. |

Dear Resident. What has happened? There have been a number of vehicle related crimes reported in Lindridge , and Wyatt Road. Unknown offenders have been interfering with vehicles to see if any were insecure, and have also stolen valuables left in the parked vehicles. An insecure vehicle parked in Lindridge Road was stolen as a result of being left insecure. What are we doing? Officers have responded to various reports of vehicle crime, and investigations and enquires are ongoing. What can you do? If you own a vehicle, please ensure that wherever it is parked , that it is secure, so all doors, and boot are locked. Please check after using a key fob to lock the vehicle. If the vehicle has an alarm please ensure it is set, consider the use of steering lock devices. Ensure all windows, and sunroofs are closed. Remove all items of value from the vehicle, and ensure nothing is left out on display. If you see suspicious behaviour around parked vehicles please call the police, if you suspect an attempt to steal a vehicle is in progress call 999.
