|
Dear Resident,
As part of our ongoing Vehicle Crime and Tool Theft campaign, we have organised a series of free tool marking sessions for tradespeople across the Thames Valley:
Tuesday 24 March 2026 (8am until lunchtime) – Screwfix Tilehurst, Reading (RG30 6BX) Wednesday 25 March 2026 (8am until lunchtime) – Screwfix High Wycombe, Cressex Business Park (HP12 3QL) Tuesday 31 March 2026 (8am until lunchtime) – Toolstation Oxford, Botley Road (OX2 0PB)
Tool marking kits are available on a first come, first served basis with a number of other theft prevention items (including faraday pouches and anti-theft number plate screws) available to take away.
If you are unable to attend one of the above sessions, please visit our dedicated webpage and complete the online form to request your free tool-marking kit.
Alongside tool marking, there are a number of ways you can help protect your tools from theft including:
Removing or obscuring any brand logos Keeping an inventory of your tools and taking photographs of items of value Adding a GPS tracker Ensuring equipment is safely stored at the end of the day
For further details, including support information on how to protect your tools, please visit our Vehicle Crime and Tool Theft webpage.
