We have released CCTV of four people we would like to speak with after some metal cables were stolen from a farm in Chesterfield.
A group of people were found on land at Park Farm in Palterton Lane in Sutton Scarsdale at about 2.50pm on Thursday 8 January.
One of them claimed they were lost, were then given directions and the group left the area by about 4.15pm.
Later that day a blue bag was discovered at the side of a nearby road which contained about 10 metres of armoured cable that had been cut and taken from the farm.
Officers have made extensive enquiries into the incident and we are now turning to the public for assistance.
We have released CCTV images of three men and a woman who were seen in the area around the time of the offence.
