NPT Patrols Observe Vehicles Blocking Access |
||
|
This Morning, PCSO Ricky & Tyler were out on foot patrol around Lipson, Laira and Mount Gould.
During the walk around, several vehicles were observed to be parked and completely obstructing service lanes and blocking access.
This causes several issues including: When vehicles are parked in this manner, we post warning notices on the vehicles and take a note of the registration number. Repeat offenders may be at risk of a Police fine or Plymouth City Council Fixed Penalty Notice, (They also won't be very popular with neighbours!).
Please can we encourage all vehicle users to ensure that vehicles are parked in a manner that does not block access lanes or restrict vision for other road users by parking near junctions.
We are also encouraging residents affected to report offending vehicles. You can do this by taking a picture of the vehicle that is parked dangerously or causing an obstruction and reporting this to us using the 101 form below:
Contact us | Devon & Cornwall Police
If vehicles are parked on double yellow lines or over a dropped kerb. You can report this to Plymouth City Council.
