๐ Community Update โ Salvation Army Meeting (Aldred Street) ๐ Friday 6th March 2026 |
||
|
On Friday, PC Morris attended a community meeting at the Salvation Army on Aldred Street. The event was organised by Guinness Housing, who invited local residents to meet with their representatives and with PC Morris, the neighbourhood officer for the area. ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐๏ธ
A great turnout of residents joined us for coffee, cake, and conversations โ๐ฐ alongside police and partners from Guinness Housing. The meeting provided a relaxed and friendly space for residents to share feedback, raise concerns, and hear about the ongoing work taking place in the neighbourhood.
During the discussion, residents were updated on the joint efforts between police and Guinness Housing, including the recent police-led closure order on one of the flats in the area. This action has already resulted in a noticeable reduction in antiโsocial behaviour, helping make the community a safer and more enjoyable place to live. ๐ซ๐ โจ
Police will continue working closely with residents, listening to concerns and taking action whenever appropriate. Your voice matters, and these meetings are a great opportunity to shape the future of your neighbourhood. ๐ฌ๐ค
Thank you to everyone who attended โ we look forward to meeting more of you at future events! ๐
