Community Police - Information Update

On Monday 2nd March 2026, PC’s Samson and Duncan, with assistance from colleagues in response Policing, arrested and charged a 45-year-old male, who is a prolific offender, for multiple charges for theft related crimes that have happened in the Kinross area over the past couple of months. 

He appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday 3rd March and has since been remanded in custody. 

PC Samson, Kinross Community Officer, said 'Local officers have been working hard to investigate these crimes and we hope this arrest provides re-assurance to the public and victims that we remain committed to tackling local issues and supporting the community. Thank you for your continued support'.
