Over the last month, your local officers have been hard at work across the NR35 beat, focusing on the priorities you told us matter most. Here’s what we’ve been doing 👇

🛑✨ Anti‑Social Behaviour Patrols

We’ve been out on foot across:
📍 Oakham Town Centre
📍 Cutts Close Park
📍 Colleridge Way
📍 Derwent Drive
📍 Welland Way Park
📍 The Sidings

Working alongside the Safer Streets Team, Rutland County Council and LFRS, we’ve targeted areas highlighted for ASB concerns 🚶‍♂️🤝

We’ve also visited youth clubs and schools 👦📚 to offer early intervention, support and positive engagement.

Plus, dedicated foot patrols in Oakham’s shopping areas 🛍️ have helped maintain a safe and welcoming town centre.

💊🚔 Drugs

We’ve carried out proactive work in locations with ongoing drug‑related concerns. This includes:
🔹 Partnership work with housing providers 🏘️
🔹 Multiple stop searches
🔹 Vehicle stops linked to suspicious activity 🚗💡

As a result, several offences are now under investigation relating to drug supply in the town ⚖️

🚗⚠️ Road Safety

We’ve been busy conducting:
🔹 Intelligence‑led vehicle stops
🔹 Checks alongside Road Policing colleagues
🔹 Independent patrols around key routes 🚓👀

These stops have helped us gather vital intelligence 🧠🔍, and we’re now preparing for further targeted roads policing through upcoming Fatal4 operations 🚫📵🚫🍺🚫💨
