Dispersal Order

A dispersal order will be in effect in Stanley town centre and the bus station this weekend.

It will run from 4pm tonight (Friday, March 6) until 4pm on Sunday, March 8 and is aimed at tackling recent incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Anyone suspected of causing trouble in these areas will be issued with a dispersal order, banning them from returning.

Those who ignore the order will face arrest.

Extra officers will be on patrol throughout the weekend to monitor the situation and deal with anyone causing trouble.
