🚨Day of Action tackles serious and organised crime in Thatcham 🚨

Our officers and staff from across our Berkshire West teams were in Thatcham yesterday, carrying out a dedicated day of action targeting serious and organised crime.

This planned operation focused on those involved in drug supply, high-value theft and the harm it brings to our communities. 

As part of the activity:

Superintendent Colin Hudson said: “We know residents will have noticed the increased police activity, and I want to reassure the community that this was a planned operation aimed at tackling those who commit serious crime in Thatcham.

“Organised crime often targets the most vulnerable, and we are committed to protecting them and bringing offenders to justice.

“I’m incredibly proud of the teamwork shown across Berkshire West. Days like this strengthen the work we do every single day to keep our communities safe.

“I would also like to thank our partners for the vital role the play in supporting us with this work.”
