The North Herts & Stevenage Community Transport service means far more to local residents than just a way to reach medical appointments or essential services. These journeys are moments of connection, reassurance, and genuine human contact. It can also ease loneliness and isolation across our towns and villages. The service is seeking new people to become a Volunteer Driver and help people get to their weekly club, day centre or support group. Using your own car, the role is very flexible and mileage is paid. It’s a vital service, making a real difference to people’s lives across North Herts & Stevenage.
