Skimming Scams targeting vulnerable people in the area

Dear Highgate Residents, 

I would like to make you aware of recent fraudulent activity in the form of someone posing as a parking officer and walking around with a card reader to scam and record the card details of the visitors using the car park at Kenwood House. Suspect is described as wearing a blue cap, navy jacket, dark trousers and using a surgical mask. 

Official civil enforcement officers(parking wardens) in the UK will never ask for on-the-spot payment or ask you to insert your bank card/pin into a handheld machine.

Please spread the awareness as these scams mainly target vulnerable people.
