🚓 Traffic Operation & Local Patrol Update – Thursday 5th March 2026 🚓 |

On Thursday 5th March 2026, your Over Hulton and Middle Hulton Neighbourhood Policing Team assisted the Rumworth Team during a traffic operation on Deane Road. Throughout the operation, officers stopped over 20 vehicles 🚗 and carried out checks on drivers and their documents to ensure everyone was complying with the law. During these stops, officers identified several traffic offences. As a result: Further Patrols Later in the Day 👮♂️Later that afternoon, PC Morris was patrolling the Wigan Road area near the Co‑op when he spotted a black Vauxhall Corsa. A PNC check showed that the vehicle had no valid insurance ⚠️. The driver was stopped and immediately admitted to having no licence.
