Dear residents of LYNDON,
I am happy to inform you that, there have been no burglaries or vehicle thefts in the Lyndon area between 24th of FEBRUARY 2026- 5th of MARCH 2026.
We have continued our proactive patrols in the area, targeting Anti-Social Behaviour, drug hot spots and burglary/vehicle crime and looking for vehicles and suspects that are linked to committing crime in our area.
The team have been out and about with our Dog Unit in the parks around the area searching for stashed weapons and drugs as well as deterring any would be offenders. We have also been working alongside British Transport Police to run a proactive operation around the railway stations on patch.
The team have recovered a cloned vehicle which was spotted being used by a known offender. It was spotted parked up and seized. This has taken a car used by criminal off the road and disrupted a number of possible offenders.
We have worked closely with Solihull Council this week targeting exploitation and cracking down on those wishing to target young people who live in the area. We are hoping to make this a regular feature in our work going forward and we look forward to working with the team again.
