What do you know about Fraud?🧐

Over the recent weeks, there has been an increase in Fraud Offences within the Stroud area.  

PCSO Loveridge has arranged for Gloucestershire Constabulary's Fraud Protect Officer to deliver an informative talk to help increase education on Fraud.

This talk will be delivered by Rhiannon who is a fountain of knowledge. The talk will discuss new scams/fraud to be aware of, how to report Fraud and how to protect yourself from it. Hopefully, by the end of this talk, you will feel more informed and comfortable when talking about Fraud.

Often victims of fraud feel embarrassed that they have not spotted the signs, however this talk is to give everyone the confidence to spot the signs and protect themselves. These incidents leave victims feeling unsafe in their own homes and often with a decrease in money that helps support their everyday lives.

Whilst the police and other agencies investigate the fraud, this preventative measure will hopefully reduce the number of fraud victims and repeat victims.
