A suspected shop thief has been arrested following a number of thefts from a shop on Compton Road in Wolverhampton.
Officers detained a 40 year old man at an address in Chapel Ash yesterday afternoon (Wed) after reports of items worth Β£180 being taken from the shop on Monday 2nd March.
It follows a series of alleged thefts from the store in the last two weeks.
The male has been charged with nine counts of thefts from a shop, between 23rd February and 2nd March, and he is due to appear at Wolverhampton magistrates today.
