We are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Shoreham left a moped rider seriously injured on Monday afternoon (2 March).

The moped was involved in a collision with a vehicle, which drove off and has yet to be identified. The moped rider was taken to hospital.

PC Sean Gulliver said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision that happened around 4.10pm on Steyning Road, where it intersects with the A27 Shoreham bypass.

“Any witnesses, and anyone with dashcam footage, should email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting 917 of 02/03.”
