Keswick street - ASB concerns

I would like to provide reassurance to residents of the Burn Valley area following concerns raised during the ward surgery on 03/03/2026 regarding a problematic address on Keswick Street.

We take all reports from our community seriously. After being notified of the issues yesterday, officers worked closely with the housing association to address the matter swiftly.

Today, 04/03/2026, Police attended the address alongside the housing association. The tenant has now been evicted and the property has been secured and boarded up.

We understand the impact that nuisance and disorder can have on the local community, and we hope this action provides reassurance that concerns raised by residents are acted upon promptly. Your information and engagement through ward surgeries and direct reporting allow us to take positive action.
