Appeal following burglary in Great Cornard

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary in Eldred Drive Great Cornard Monday evening 2 March sometime between 8pm and 8.30pm.

An unknown male gained entry to the home by smashing patio doors to a bedroom.  Once inside an untidy search was conducted, and a jewellery box and contents, and a handbag and contents were stolen.  The homeowner heard a noise and discovered the break-in, alerting a neighbour and police. A member of public found some stolen items nearby.

Detectives are asking residents in the local area to Eldred Drive to check any doorbell cameras/CCTV and dashcam footage within this timeframe for any images that may help with this investigation.
