Appeal after Volkswagen Golf stolen in Ware |
||
|
Local officers are appealing for the public’s help in relocating a Volkswagen Golf which has been stolen in Ware. The incident occurred between 9.20am on 14 February and 5.15pm on 18 February, in Linwood Road. The victim had parked the car on Linwood Road on Saturday 14 February, after it was damaged by a branch which had hit the windscreen. When the owner returned to the vehicle on Wednesday 18 February, it was no longer there. PC Robin Anyadiegwu, who is investigating, said: “Following our initial enquiries, we would like to appeal for information and witnesses who may have either seen the damaged vehicle get moved, or information regarding its whereabouts. “I particularly want to hear from the driver of a white pickup truck which was reportedly seen driving in the area at the time.” Anyone with information can contact PC Robin Anyadiegwu via emailing Robin.Anyadiegwu@herts.police.uk. You can also report information online at herts.police.uk/report, by speaking to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat at herts.police.uk/contact or by calling the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 41/15903/26. Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org. | ||
