The Borehamwood & Elstree Neighbourhood Policing Team joined together with immigration officers for an operation in 📍 Shenley Road #Borehamwood on Friday (27 February).
The operation, which ran from 1pm to 4pm, targeted those with incorrect business insurance and aimed to tackle immigration matters too.
There were three stop zones along Shenley Road and over the course of the operation numerous vehicles and drivers were stopped and checked.
We are pleased to report that the majority of people had the correct insurance and immigration status 👍
One person was arrested in connection with immigration matters and one driver was reported for driving without insurance. Their vehicle was also seized.
We will continue to work in collaboration with partner agencies to make Hertsmere a safer place for the community. |
