dear residents, 

over the recent weeks we have had an increase in theft of keyless motor vehicles, largely Range Rovers. we are seeing an increase persons being followed, often onto a retail park, the vehicle signal being intercepted and then stolen easily.  Offending so far has been in daytime hours and has happened on retail car parks, hotel car parks.

Drivers are advised to physically check that their vehicle is locked before walking away. other crime prevention advise would be to use a faraday pouch which are designed to block the electromagnetic signals from relay theft. also a good steering lock device is recommended.
