MCDONALDS BURN ROAD |
||
|
We are aware of concerns raised by members of the public regarding incidents of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage involving groups of youths at Burn Road McDonald’s.
Over the past three to four weeks, we have taken these reports very seriously. Neighbourhood Police Officers and PCSOs have conducted targeted patrols in the area and have visited more than 13 children and their families to address the concerns directly. During these visits, the impact of this behaviour on the local community and businesses has been clearly explained, and parents and guardians have been engaged to ensure appropriate boundaries and expectations are reinforced at home.
As a result of our enquiries, AS13 warning notices have been issued where appropriate, and McDonald’s banning orders have been put in place for those identified as being involved. These measures demonstrate that this behaviour is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
We will continue to work closely with the business, local residents, and partner agencies to prevent further incidents and to ensure the area remains safe and welcoming for everyone.
We thank the community for continuing to report concerns to us and encourage anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour to contact us so we can take action.
