Beware Door-to-Door Traders and Cold-callers

There have been recent reports of traders calling door-to-door in the neighbourhood offering to pressure-wash drives and patios.  These individuals, often dressed in hi-vis, may offer to first clean a “test-strip” before approaching neighbouring properties, offering the same services.  Vulnerable and isolated homeowners are often targeted by such traders and cold-callers.

The Met Police and Camden Councils’ advice is not to engage door-to-door traders; ask friends and family to recommend traders listed on reputable schemes; and to always report suspicious individuals or activity on 101.
