Dear residents of CHATHAM CENTRAL and BROMPTON,
On Monday 2nd March 2026, your local Beat Officer PC Deards, accompanied by PC Greenwood and PCSO Hendrie, conducted a high‑visibility community engagement session on the Great Lines, Gillingham. This event provided an opportunity for residents and dog walkers to speak directly with officers about local concerns and to sign up to My Community Voice for ongoing updates.
As part of the engagement, Councillor Nina Gurung joined the local beat officer for a walk around Brompton, visiting local businesses, speaking with community members, and discussing current policing priorities within the area.
Officers also distributed leaflets and provided safety advice to those who engaged with them. Conversations included guidance on: This session formed part of the team's continued commitment to visibility, reassurance, and proactive engagement with the communities of Gillingham and Brompton.
