Oxley Police Team – Weekly Update

It’s been another proactive week for the Oxley neighbourhood team, with officers and PCSOs continuing to focus on tackling crime and supporting our local community.

👮 Arrest – Shoplifting

Officers arrested a male on suspicion of shoplifting in the Oxley area. The arrest forms part of our ongoing work to target retail crime and support local businesses. Enquiries are ongoing.

🏦 Crime Prevention – Lloyds Bank

PCSOs attended Lloyds Bank this week to offer crime prevention advice to staff and customers. The focus was on fraud awareness, scam prevention, and general personal safety guidance. We’re committed to working closely with our local businesses to help keep both staff and customers safe.

🇺🇦 Community Engagement – Ukrainian Centre

Our PCSOs also visited the Ukrainian Centre to provide reassurance and share crime prevention advice. It was a great opportunity to engage with members of the community, answer questions, and offer practical advice on staying safe.
