Four Offenders who actively target shops in Southwark have been Charged for Shoplifting. This is following an investigation by A/PS Kev Webster and PC Carina Tunks of the South Bermondsey SNT, working with retailers and business partnership. The offenders some of whom are repeat offenders, cause fear and intimidation amongst the business community and the customers of these shops. Police departments are working closely with retailers and business partnerships to deter and detect retail crime in London. The offenders will appear before a Magistrates Court in due course. |
